As the manager of Slaydon’s Travel in Chesapeake, Va., Jennifer Round custom crafts incredible itineraries for families that yearn for transformational travel experiences. Jennifer’s passion lies in planning vacations that connect families with the different cultures they encounter, the new people they meet, and—most importantly—with each other. Plus, she understands that every family’s travel needs and desires are unique—that’s why flexibility and a highly tailored touch are hallmarks of her travel planning services.
Jennifer has worked in the travel industry for more than 30 years, but travel has always been a huge part of her life. The vacations that she’d take with her parents and grandparents each summer growing up were the highlight of her childhood. Today, Jennifer indulges her passion for travel by serving her clients and by visiting new places with her own family, including her young daughter—who now has more stamps in her passport than Jennifer had at 30!
Jennifer is also dedicated to empowering success in fellow travel professionals. Ashley has been a travel consultant for nearly 10 years. She began helping families plan every aspect of their Disney Theme park vacations. As comfort zones grew and families wanted to explore other adventures, Ashley joined the Slaydon’s Travel team. She loves helping her clients plan vacations that fit their ever changing needs. Her passion is helping busy families reconnect and have seamless, stress free vacations.
Joyce Parker, MCC
Joyce brings nearly 30 years of travel industry experience to Slaydon’s Travel. She began her travel career with TWA Getaway Vacations and retired from AAA of Tidewater. Joyce loves to travel and is working from her home office doing her favorite thing – “making magic happen with your vacation.” She earned the title of Master Cruise Counsellor with CLIA (North America’s largest cruise industry organization). This an industry recognized certification program with extensive training and cruise line knowledge. Joyce has a love of cruises and anything Disney. She has traveled throughout the US, Europe and Australia.
Bruce Strattner, CTC
Bruce has 45 years of travel industry experience, as both a travel consultant and a travel agency manager. He has traveled extensively throughout the World and especially through Europe and North America.
Bruce is a cruise and tour expert. He is semi-retired and works from home when he is not out discovering a new travel destination. He has many clients who continue to rely on his travel expertise. In recent years Bruce has been to every State in the US and to most of the US National Parks. He does extensive hiking and biking every chance he gets.
